Hi all - Just want to let you know that because our network has not been conducting many workshops or courses, we are having to cut down on the work hours at Edge Enterprises. We have laid off Anita. We expect
that we will have someone in the office on Mondays from 10 am to noon CST until future notice to address your concerns and mail orders. Thus, if you have a workshop or course coming up, please be aware of this and send in your orders in a timely way. I will
see any emails and orders coming in. In an emergency, please text me at 785-760-0883.

That’s the immediate issue. The long-term issue is whether we will be able to keep the office operating over the next few months. That depends on you! This time of year is the perfect time for you to be
planning to set up new Xtreme Reading classrooms and train new Xtreme Reading teachers for fall-start-ups. It’s also the perfect time to be planning new workshops and courses for the spring and summer. It’s a great time to talk with state and district administrators
about plans for those students who have fallen behind in skills. We need “all hands on deck” throughout the network if we are to continue to serve the nation’s children and teachers in the way that we all know is productive and helpful.

As always, I continue to work every day, all day, five days a week to ensure the success of each of you and SIM. I have not retired and don’t plan to retire. Please feel free to email or call me (785-841-0638)
to discuss any issues, ideas, or concerns. Jean

P.S. I am attaching an article recently published about the Xtreme Reading Program and another article that is about to be published on the Sentence, Paragraph, and Theme Writing Strategies. There might be
a few errors in the latter article since I haven’t proofed it yet. In another week or so, I will have a really clean article. However, I wanted you to see it now. These articles are the best of the best in terms of reviewing the latest positive results of
our work. (Who else has results like these??! If you know of someone, please send me the article!) I hope you can put these articles to great use in convincing school personnel to pursue SIM.
