<p class="x_MsoNormal">Christine, As a part of your proposal, you might want to share with your district a scope and sequence that other districts are using for teaching the writing strategies. I’m attaching one example. Please scroll down to the bottom where
it starts with kindergarten and then continues upward to the 12<sup>th</sup> grade. I’m also attaching two charts that show how the writing strategies correspond to the common core standards for conventions and for text types. Jean</p>
