There are some enrichment activities in Appendix C of the instructor’s manual starting on page 183 that might be helpful. There is also an exercise that I developed based on an idea that I learned at a John Strobe cooperative learning session. The partners
work on alternating sentences on each other’s learning sheets. They have to use hand signals (so it is a silent activity) to indicate they are done with 1 sentence, then they switch. They check each other’s sentence and write feedback. Then, they do the next
sentence on their partner’s paper. Signal, switch, correct, give feedback, do next one, signal, etc. It is amazing to see the silent cooperative learning take place. Please find the example attached.<br>
