We’ve had an email from Jean Schumaker, Owner of Edge Enterprises, former KUCRL Co-Director, and SIM Author.  I’m going to include the gist of it below.  We’re doing our best at CRL to try to encourage more use (and sales) of SIM materials, but please feel free to reach out directly to Jean with any thoughts you have for her.

Dear PDers,
As I mentioned, we’ve had to cut back on Anita’s hours at Edge. We are currently only selling about one book per day at Edge, which means that we will have to drastically cut back by the end of the month.  Students and teachers need our support. Please feel free to send me ideas about what we can do as a network to encourage more professional development, and let me know what I can do to support you.
I really don’t want to retire!!
