Hi Lori,
A few years ago I did a podcast on Word ID.  I am attaching it.  Feel free to use it if it is helpful.  The idea is to give the big picture of the strategy in a very short period of time.  Of course, this is not the PD, but something that could be used to show administrators and/or teachers what the strategy is all about.
