Florida’s State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG) SIM Project is pleased to announce that we are adding a twelve-month SIM Instructional Staff Developer/Assistant Project Manager position for the remainder of the grant ending 9/30/22.

The focus of this position is to facilitate:

  *   district implementation teams in participating school districts in building the infrastructure necessary to install, sustain and scale-up the implementation of SIM;
  *   school implementation teams in developing and monitoring goals related to SIM implementation as they provide support and problem-solving assistance to implementing teachers;
  *   high-quality professional learning and coaching in SIM through direct service or through assisting SIM Professional Developers and Specialists; and
  *   the increase of SIM Professional Developers and Specialists in the Florida Network through the identification and mentoring of practitioners implementing SIM with high fidelity.

Preferred qualifications – current SIM Professional Developer, Master’s Degree or higher, demonstrated skill in facilitating systems change and high quality professional learning.

This position requires extensive travel with overnight stays across the state of Florida.
