[Simtrainer-l] PIRATES question

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone has ever taught PIRATES to
younger students. I teach 3rd grade and my kids are familiar with most of
the bigger words. Actually, "estimate" is exactly what our math curriculum
calls guessing.

I've taught it to 6th graders, but this is the youngest grade I've ever
taught. Does anyone have any experience with teaching it to younger kids
and if so, did you have to do anything differently (like adding extra days,
doing more review, etc.)? Thanks for your help.
