I transferred the CD contents to my one-drive, using an external drive. I then emailed the cue cards to the students. I continue to use paper learning sheets.

Subject: [Simtrainer-l] Writing apps & websites
Hello SIM Folk …
We are working with a district in Ohio, and they have gone 1:1 this year with Chromebooks. Chromebooks cannot use DVDs or CDs as you probably know, so I was wondering if anyone had ideas of how to use the SIM writing programs that are only available that way. Is there a way to put them on a school network?
Related to that … can any of you suggest websites or apps for either vocabulary or writing that would be helpful or appropriate for students to practice with? We are in the very early stages of working with this district, but one of the overall goals is to increase writing proficiency. We are starting with Fundamentals and Proficiency in Sentence Writing.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thank you so much.
Sue Woodruff
