Subject: Overview of Unit Organizer Routine for Families
Just wanted to share one of our new resources, an overview of the Unit Organizer Routine for Families
Unit Organizer Routine Overview for Families
Purpose: provide families with a short introduction to the Unit Organizer and offer tips on how they can support their student’s use of the Unit Organizer to learn content and manage assignments.
Versions: offered in English and Spanish. The English version is slightly longer (about 16 minutes) than the Spanish version (about 11 minutes), as we would not expect students to bring home Unit Organizers that have been translated into Spanish, so fewer tips are provided.
Site: housed on the Florida Diagnostic Learning and Resources System (FDLRS) SPDG SIM Project webpage: http://www.fdlrs.org/statewidepd/florida-s-state-personnel-development-grant.html
Access: please encourage teachers using the Unit Organizer Routine to post a link to the videos on their websites and ask parents to complete the satisfaction survey.
