[Simtrainer-l] Strategic Tutoring question

Gina …
We tried it in resource settings several years ago where there were usually 8 - 10 students. We found that while the teachers were initially excited about the program, that in reality it was impossible for them to sustain. I think it would be doable with maybe two students. A really skilled teacher might be able to manage three students and do Strategic Tutoring well. I’m not sure that I would try it again unless it was 1:1 or close to that. I would be very curious what others have to say. Tutoring really implies the 1:1 nature because each student brings to the table different assignments and different strengths and weaknesses. I would love to see what others have to say, though.

Has anyone used ST during small group instruction? If so, I'd love to hear more about your experience. Thank you!
