[Simtrainer-l] Biology DVTs project

Hi all,

 I currently have several new Differentiated Visual Tools (DVTs) projects in the works, including one that focuses exclusively on teaching Biology. Each of the Biology DVTs are individually designed for teaching specific biology content standards. We already know from previous research that these can be very powerful instructional tools, both from a facilitating depth and breadth of understanding perspective, and from a reducing teachers’ and students’ cognitive load perspective. I’ve attached 3 sample biology DVTs to illustrate.

I’m looking for individuals with teaching biology expertise who might be interested in collaborating with me and possibly becoming a published co-author of this program. The collaboration would mostly involve developing a wide range of samples that illustrate how to use the Biology DVTs and then later, participating in a field test of the program.
