Recently, I conducted a workshop on The Paragraph Writing Strategy and will
soon teach Fundamentals in Theme Writing to the instructors at The Tutorial
Center in my area. These teachers who work with high school students and
adults seemed very excited about SIM Strategies. The director has asked if
there is research that shows SIM Strategies are as effective with adults as
with adolescents. I came across one article: Effective Literacy Instruction
for Adults with Specific Learning Disabilities: Implications for Adult
Educators ( Hock, MF 2012) that was in the Journal of Learning Disabilities
45 (1) 64-78, but I haven't purchased it yet. I was wondering if it would
have the information I need. Would this be a good article to purchase
and/or are there others that might be helpful?

Thank You,

Eileen Zazzaro
