Hi Cathy,

We’ve always used whatever device is a hand. When I wrote Focus on Teaching, about coaching and video, most people were using iPads, but I just use my iPhone, transfer video to my hard drive, then put the video on a flash drive and leave the drive with the teacher. You probably need 2GB for each ten minutes.

Hello All,

If you have engaged in video coaching with teachers, could you share with me what equipment you use for video recording.

I understand there are wireless systems that can be synced to a phone or tablet that allow the recording device to move freely capturing all teacher movements in the classroom.

And there are also basic stands for your phone or tablet that allow for hands free recording.

Not sure if there is something in between these two options that is affordable.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Best,
cathy
