The Provost has gone ahead and implemented an inequitable pay cut to faculty and staff at KU. Along with most other faculty I believe that this is not an fair pay cut and I have voiced my opinion.  I would suggest you direct any comments to the Provost's office.

<div><span style="font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); display: inline !important">I do not believe that that Provost has adequately taken faculty governance input into account in this decision. </span>Many individuals,

 numerous faculty committees, and our governance entities at the University have repeatedly requested information from the administration and asked for the involvement of shared governance in these decisions. The administration seems to have ignored this input.</div>

If you are interested in estimating your pay cut for the coming academic year you can estimate your reduction by using the attached calculator or by contacting the Provost’s office directly. The reduction is on a 9 month salary basis and does not impact those

 making less than $50,000.<br>
