Good morning,



We want to let you know that lot 15, next to/behind Blake Hall, was changed from a gold to a blue zone based on the recommendation of the Parking Commission to the Provost, who approved the change in February.



This recommendation was due to the extremely low usage of the parking lot (average of 8 cars per day), and to expand options for employees with blue permits in this area. The signs have been updated, and this change is now in effect. As a reminder, if you have a blue permit, you will not be able to drive through the booths on Jayhawk Boulevard, but can access this lot from the east end of the Boulevard via 14th Street or Oread Ave.



We do want to alert you that this is a temporary change pending an upcoming parking study. For now, the change will be in effect through the end of July, and staff and the Parking Commission will reevaluate the color zone changes for next year.
