[Pols-l] Friday April 28th 11:00 am In-person Faculty Meeting

Hello,

I hope everyone had a good break.  Please mark your calendar for a faculty meeting on April 28th at 11:00 am in-person in the POLS meeting room.

We will have three agenda items. First is a meeting with Dean Arash Mafi. I had a chance to meet with him briefly and hear him speak about his vision for the College and I believe he is off to a great start. I am looking forward to the department meeting.

Second is a discussion on the POLS graduate program. Nazli is doing a great job as the graduate director. Our discussion will address the graduate course enrollment and course offerings given the number of faculty. We will also return to the discussion regarding field exams.

Finally, we will make new committee assignments for the next academic year.
