[Pols-l] See you tomorrow at the POLS graduation

I am headed out early today.  There is a large arrangement of sunflowers in my car, getting baked by the heat, so I am taking it home until tomorrow.    I will see the faculty tomorrow (Friday) at 6pm in the Jayhawk Room, 5th floor Kansas Union to prepare for the graduation ceremony.   I know there are a few faculty who will not be there.
     Please arrive in your regalia and we will try to gather you all for a photo with the GradImages person, I think Leandra.
  The faculty will be first in line to proceed in at 6:30pm, to Woodruff and take the stage, with the graduating students behind you to sit in the rows in front of the stage.  After the ceremony, the faculty will be the first to leave - I will cue music which will start with some piano music playing then followed by the graduates exiting then the rest.    Reception across from Woodruff in the Big 12 Room.   I have asked that the partition between the rooms be left open to leave more space.  Big thanks to graduate student, and next year GTA, Grant Hansen, who will be assisting me.   See you there!   Thank you! -Linda

P.S.  Just FYI someone will be there taking pictures and video clips for a story that CBS news is doing about graduate Baset Azizi, and his family, who will be at the ceremony.
