I am assistant to the Senior Associate Director of the Dole Institute of Politics, Dr. Barbara W. Ballard.  We are currently accepting applications for the Robert Hemenway Public Service Award for the 2021 -2022 academic year.  Dr. Ballard is hoping that you may have some students in your department who are juniors this semester that might qualify for the award.



The qualifications are:



  1.  Must have junior status this semester (spring 2022) with at least one year to complete at KU.
  2.  Must be enrolled as a full time KU undergraduate student during the 2022-2023 academic year.
  3.  Must complete the application and submit with a 250-word essay.
  4.  Applications and essays must be submitted before 4:00 p.m. on April 18, 2022.
