[Pols-l] Faculty Meeting May 6th 11:00 am

Hello,

I hope you are well. As the semester winds down and time commitments start gearing up, I want to set a time for an end of the semester faculty meeting. The meeting is set for May 6th at 11:00 am and it will be a Zoom meeting.  The zoom link is below.

On the agenda are three items. First is the assignment of new members for department committees.  We have Advisory Committee (we need 4 members not including the chair), graduate studies committee (we need 3 members not including the grad director), undergraduate committee (we need 2 members not including the UG director).

We do not need a P&T committee this year, but we may need a search committee for a Russian IR position.  This will depend on the success of the CREES Title VI grant. Eric Scott put in a competitive application, so I am optimistic.

Second item on the agenda is a brief overview of the undergraduate curriculum mapping project for the coming year. Kevin and I will briefly go over this.

Third is a discussion for a POLS Online MA program. I have attached the Online MA proposal. This can be a positive program for the department and participating faculty.
