Hello,
I hope everyone is well.
I just received an e-mail message from the provost regarding in-person courses and the Fall semester. Last academic year we had to make significant adjustments due to the pandemic. Although the pandemic is not officially over, the conditions for in-person teaching has improved in late spring and summer. As a result, the university administration is asking departments to teach as many in-person courses as possible. Courses taught online before the pandemic can continue, otherwise new online courses need approval. Accommodation approvals for online and hybrid courses are at the university level. Therefore, if you have any health related concerns regarding in-person teaching, then contact Abby King (abigailw at ku.edu<mailto:abigailw at ku.edu>) at Human Resource Management. If you any concerns or accommodation needs that are not health related then contact Chris Brown (jcbrown2 at ku.edu<mailto:jcbrown2 at ku.edu>) at Faculty Development.
If you have any question let me know.
Take Care,
John
