Colleagues,

I am working my contacts in Topeka to gin up last minute internship opportunities for students who expressed interest in the Topeka internship program, but who got stiffed when the legislature canceled their program. I got my last three students placed with the Governor's office, but I have one unfilled internship possibility left. I could use your help finding a student who might be a match.

The offer is from the Reflector, which is a start up news outlet primarily covering Kansas politics. They pay, and could do six hours a week for $75. We could arrange Topeka Field Work credit hours for this, which meets goal 6 of the KU core. The student should ideally have an interest in journalism or media. If you know anyone who would be a match and want to reach out to them, please have them email me ASAP. Thank you.
