Colleagues, given the relatively early date for starting the P&T process in 2021 (below) I will be sending an invite for a faculty meeting to 1) populate committees for 2021-22 AY, and 2) discuss options for some form of graduation recognition ceremony in the spring.

Good morning; I hope this finds you all well, safe, and staying warm.



As you may know, for any faculty member who will be evaluated for promotion & tenure in the 2021–22 academic year, the process of soliciting external evaluation letters should begin soon. For information about this process, please see http://collegedean.ku.edu/promotion-tenure-guidelines – specifically, the information titled “2021–22 application cycle, College instructions for external evaluation letters,” dated February 9, 2021.



If you have any questions about the P&T process, please do not hesitate to contact me or Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs Ben Eggleston. We know this process is complex and is a major responsibility for chairs and directors, and we are happy to help in any way we can.
