I am very sorry to hear about Chucho. I realize this can be a necessary, but difficult choice for an older pet (family friend).

I will not be at the meeting today. Unfortunately, we are putting our dog Chucho down this afternoon, so there are a lot of tears around this house today.


I wholeheartedly support offering Sofia a tenure-track position--she will be a wonderful colleague. I'll do my best to get all the promotion files to you by the end of day.
