To all Baseline departmental contacts,

You are receiving this email because you’ve been identified as the lead or administrator of a unit that has historically used Baseline. If you think you’ve received this message in error, please let us know or forward it to any individuals in your unit who are actively involved in administering surveys in Baseline.

The University of Kansas is not renewing its Baseline contract, which ends July 31. Baseline is one component of Campus Labs, and is the only Campus Labs component that is being ended.

Baseline users are being transitioned to KU’s Qualtrics license as the alternative survey platform. Transitions like this can cause concern for users, but The Office of Analytics and Institutional Research (AIR) has been working to make the move as easy as possible.

In preparation for this change, AIR has exported all rubrics and closed projects from Baseline, and will be assisting in closing out and exporting currently live projects. Exports include project data, reports, project files, survey outlines, saved views, and mass mailing messages.

We’re also providing support to Baseline users in the transition to Qualtrics. We can help rebuild existing Baseline projects in Qualtrics, provide Qualtrics training and coaching, and answer how-to questions for the Qualtrics platform. Additional support materials are included below:
