Good morning all,

I'm making sure you've seen this call seeking Winter graduates for the College to profile and help celebrate. We feature graduates with a photo and a short bio on a Facebook album (here is last year's album: https://www.facebook.com/pg/KUCollege/photos/?tab=album&album_id=10156801602686310). We see a lot of engagement with graduates' family and friends. We also share a link to the album through our other social media platforms, and our e-newsletters.

The request is simple - we just need a name, department, email address (of the student) and a sentence or two about what makes the student worthy of being featured. You can send any suggestions on to argrender at ku.edu<mailto:argrender at ku.edu>. And feel free to share this around your department.

Dear College Communicators,

The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences is seeking your suggestions of outstanding students to profile for graduation stories and features. We are looking for undergraduate or graduate students who completed their degree in Summer or Fall 2019 and will graduate this December. If you know of a student in your department who has made an impact on campus, has grand plans after graduation, or just has an interesting story, please let us know.

If you'd like to nominate a student, please respond to this email and provide the student's name, their department, email address, and a quick sentence or two explaining why they would be a good candidate. You may tell us about more than one student.

We will accept suggestions through next Friday, Nov. 22. Please email argrender at ku.edu<mailto:argrender at ku.edu> with any questions. And feel free to distribute this request among faculty and staff in your department.

We're excited to showcase the great students we have in the College and can't wait to share their stories.
