Best Practices in Assessment: Where KU Fits Into the National Landscape
The documentation of student learning continues to evolve as faculty experiment with the types of evidence and data they gather and analyze. To help instructors better understand the assessment landscape, Gianina Baker of the National Institute on Learning Outcomes Assessment will lead a workshop on best practices in assessment after CTE's annual Student Learning Symposium. Dr. Baker travels frequently to college campuses, interacting with faculty about their varied approaches to studying student learning. She brings a particular expertise in matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion within assessment. She is looking forward to discussing examples from other institutions as well as hearing about the good assessment work taking place within departments around KU.
Join us at CTE, 135 Budig Hall, from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22. RSVP to Judy Eddy at jeddy at ku.edu<mailto:jeddy at ku.edu> by Wednesday, Feb. 20.
