[Pols-l] Carolyn Johnson's retirement

Colleagues, after 28 years of teaching constitutional law courses for us Carolyn Johnson is retiring this spring. She doesn't want a reception or other event.

I'm having a plaque made for her but Hannah also had the idea of us all making donations in her name to the endowment for CASA of Douglas County. Carolyn works for and volunteers for CASA, which is an organization established for lawyers to represent children who are removed from their homes. The lawyers represent the children directly in interactions with parents, the government, and non-profits.

If you would like to participate in making a donation please give me or Linda a check or money order by Friday May 10. We will bundle the donations and provide them to CASA in Carolyn's name soon after that. Even $10 would be a nice gesture and CASA is really an amazing organization.
