I wanted to follow up to the note I sent earlier regarding your SSC support.  At this time we have identified a backup support for your unit during Deb's absences.   Alec Stremel will be assisting Deb with your unit to ensure we can meet the upcoming end of year deadlines.  Starting immediately please copy BOTH Deb and Alec on any upcoming requests.  Alec's email is alec5629 at ku.edu<mailto:alec5629 at ku.edu>.  Deb and Alec will work together on what we have and future requests to ensure all items are handled in a timely manner.

Dear All:

I wanted to let you know that due to a medical condition Deb Deering will not be in the office full-time for the coming months.  We will be having others in the CPS SSC assist her with your units during this time due to the upcoming fiscal year end and impacts on timing of transactions.  So you may hear from others in the CPS SSC during this time.  In addition we will be working to identify specific staff to provide temporary support for your area and I will notify you once that has been resolved.  Deb will then work closely with this individual to ensure that transactions continue to get processed in a timely manner.

In the meantime please don't hesitate to reach out to Joel Hood or myself should you have any immediate needs.  Joel can be reached at joelhood at ku.edu<mailto:joelhood at ku.edu> or 864-6857.  My contact information is below.
