Colleagues, I think the attached are basically correct. It does look like some publications are listed as in press when in fact they have already been published. Please let me know about any errors or omissions and also make sure that your PRO account accurately reflects the current status of your work (I know this is a pain). Please complete before May 30.

Subject: 2017 Department Summaries

Dear Dr. Haider-Markel,

At the close of each academic year, the Faculty PRO office prepares department summary reports that capture faculty activity data over the last calendar year. Please find attached the initial drafts of your department's reports for 2017. Thank you for reviewing your department's preliminary reports, for providing feedback, and for encouraging faculty members to update their PRO records.

These reports contain aggregated information from PRO on your department's respective publications, presentations, honorific awards, funded awards, and editorial responsibilities as reported by faculty for 2017.  Please note that only tenured/tenure-track faculty are included on the department summary report, but non-tenure track faculty are included on the funding report.

We will share the final drafts of these reports with the Dean's Office on June 1st, 2018. If you see any problems that need correction prior to sending these to the Dean or if faculty in your department require additional time to update their information in PRO, please contact the PRO program manager Emily Lowrance-Floyd at lowrance at ku.edu<mailto:lowrance at ku.edu>.
