[Pols-l] Fw: Pi Sigma Alpha

Hello,

It is time to again begin the process of selecting our department's various student award/scholarship winners.   Attached is a list of our outstanding majors as of this semester (above a 3.0 GPA), although I am sure the list can be expanded.  The PSA membership requires a 3.4 GPA.  Please add comments about the performance of any of the students you have observed in class, particularly Juniors (most of the awards are designated for Juniors).

After you have reviewed the list, please email the excel document with your comments back to me by March 15, 2018.  You can write-in some details on your comments and/or provide a scaled ranking (1 poor-5 excellent).  I will summarize the comments I receive and may talk to some of you as I determine our award winners.

The award winners will be announced at our department event on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 3pm.

Also, let me know if you have any students that are working on their pols honors thesis.
