Please consider applying for and/or forwarding the below to your faculty/researcher colleagues. Each May the Libraries' offers an excellent program called Research Sprints, https://lib.ku.edu/research-sprints/about:

"Research Sprints offer faculty and academic staff the chance to work intensively with a team of librarians for one week on a project. Whether creating a new course, applying for a research grant, or tackling a chunk of your latest research project. Research Sprints is a quick way for you to accomplish your goals. Research Sprints will be held May 14-18 in Watson Library."

Attendees from past years have been very pleased with the progress their research projects made. Folks,
Happy chilly Friday. (Seriously, bundle up. The wind is wicked!) I wanted to let everyone know that we have extended the Research Sprints’<https://lib.ku.edu/research-sprints> submission deadline to Friday, April 13th. Please feel free to share this information if you work with faculty and think the might be interested. We will notify applicants on April 24th. In between April 13th and 24th we will review applicants and share them for review with relevant folks with in the libraries. Once we have the 3 chosen projects selected (after April 24), we will begin setting up teams and meeting with them to discuss the process, answer questions, and help set up a pre-sprint meeting with the team and chosen applicant (aka, the Sprintee).
