Colleagues, as the sub-fields meet to grade prelims please remind the chairs to develop a list of course assignments for the 18-19 academic year.

I would also encourage each subfield to schedule a Friday brown bag this semester to discuss the sub field with grad students, expectations, and prelim tips. You can contact me about dates.
