[Pols-l] update and week of 11/28

Colleagues, quick update and future schedule.

I still have not been given formal authorization to make an offer to Carter; I'm frustrated with the College office but I expect word before too long.

Because multiple departments have an interest in Mike Wuthrich we are going to provide a formal interview for him, which will likely take place the week of 11/28. Please try to be flexible with your schedule that week.

Related to that, please reserve Dec. 2 @ 11am for a faculty meeting. The agenda would likely be regarding Wuthrich and the POLS vision statement. If you have ideas on the vision statement please share them with me so that we can start a draft document.
