<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">The KU Political Science Department will host an informational Zoom meeting about spring 2021 internships for Washington, DC, and Topeka. The Washington Intern
Program has operated since 1984, and over 600 students have participated. The program is traditionally an intensive, semester-long residential program in DC. We have also placed many students in Topeka internships inside the Kansas legislature and out over
the years. There are great opportunities for KU students of all majors in either program. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">Given the ongoing Covid pandemic, many aspects of internships are still up in the air and outside of our control. The situations in both Washington and Topeka are
developing. That said, we are proceeding with program planning for the time being as if both will be happening as normal. But obviously, the situation will remain fluid. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
