The Phi Beta Delta Graduate Student Paper on an International Topic Competition is soliciting submissions once again. Thanks to a sponsorship from Graduate Studies, we are able to offer two awards of $50 for papers in two categories:
research paper from a course and dissertation chapter. More information can be found on the Phi Beta Delta webpage: https://international.ku.edu/phi-beta-delta-best-grad-student-paper. The
deadline for the competition is March 6. This is earlier than in previous years because we would like to announce the winners at our spring concert.

The spring concert, Evening of International Chamber Music for Strings, Woodwinds, and Piano will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 7:30 PM in the Swarthout Recital Hall. The program will feature music from Ecuador,
China, Canada, Germany, and Armenia, performed by students, faculty, and alumni of the KU School of Music. A small reception will follow. Members of the society and other supporters of international education are cordially invited.
