<b>Mozilla Working Open Workshop (WOW) to KU on October 16th/17th</b>. WOWs are a highly customized and agile two-day event for researchers to learn, share, and connect around open research best practices designed to improve research collaborations and ensure
 access to research data and findings, thereby speeding the pace of discovery. </span>

<p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">Workshop modules will cover the essentials of designing an open project, using collaboration tools such as GitHub, sharing research products as a default, and fostering an active community
 around an open project. It is hands-on and project-based, including lots of time for participants to make real, meaningful progress on their projects, and to network and collaborate across projects and disciplines. WOWs have been previously hosted in Montreal,
 Boston, Austin, Berlin, Portland, and Cape Town.</span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
