Board member Jennifer Hamer shared this with me yesterday and thought many of you might be interested (see note and link below). Concealed carry laws in which individuals can have concealed weapons on campus will go into effect July 1, 2017. The Center (or
more accurately - the staff) have been talking about ways we might respond that are useful and productive. We'll keep you informed. This has a profound effect on feelings of safety for our students and our faculty and staff as well - particularly women and
those in marginalized communities. We will be talking further about this.<br>
