Congratulations to Dr. Mike Wuthrich, receiving George and Eleanor Woodyard International Educator Award!

KU International Affairs informed us that KU Political Science professor,
Dr. Mike Wuthrich has been selected as the recipient of the 2024 George and Eleanor Woodyard International Educator Award, a unanimous selection among a very strong group of nominees!   The committee was especially impressed by his dedication to bringing global perspectives to KU. Through efforts to connect Turkish and Middle Eastern scholars with our academic community, he enriched campus dialogue and provided unparalleled opportunities for students and colleagues to engage with pressing international political developments. His leadership in organizing seminars, conferences, and symposia has further demonstrated  commitment to interdisciplinary and global academic exchange. A formal presentation ceremony is being planned in the spring 2025 term.
