Dear Colleagues,



The Institute for Policy & Social Research will host the Doctoral Research Fellows presentation series on Tuesday, April 6 and Friday, April 9 from 1:30 – 2:30.  These two event will showcase the research efforts of the 2020-2021 Doctoral Research Fellows, an interdisciplinary cohort of scholars in social science and related disciplines.  Throughout the year, the fellows meet to share research and develop professional skills.  In this fast-paced research symposium, each Fellow will give a five-minute overview of their research followed by audience Q&A.  The detailed program is attached.



This two-day online event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested.

The Institute for Policy & Social Research has begun accepting applications for the 2021-22 Doctoral Research Fellows Program. We are seeking Ph.D. candidates in the social sciences and related disciplines who are engaged in research with an IPSR-affiliated faculty member. The application begins with a letter of nomination from an IPSR faculty affiliate, due Friday, April 23rd.  Instructions for applying are attached here, and details about the program are available online at: https://ipsr.ku.edu/about/gradfellows/.
