I hope this e-mail finds you doing well.  Barbara Ballard asked me to send the following flyer and asks that you share this with your students and any boards/students/faculty/staff that might be interested in our civic engagement program in celebration of the centennial anniversary of the 19th Amendment.  As you know, the Dole Institute sponsored this year's Civic Engagement Essay Contest asking KU students to answer the following question:  "Is the vote a right or a responsibility?"  Join the three winners and runner up as they discuss their essays with some of the contest's distinguished judges.
