[Pols-announce] fall courses and concerns about teaching in person,

POLS folks, From the Dean today,

It is looking 99% clear that courses with more than 100 students will be taught online this fall. There isn't a final word but it seems likely.

Smaller courses are not yet clear, but you do need to prepare to teach both online and in-person

If any instructor is unable or uncomfortable teaching in person courses this fall please let me know and send an email to Sam Montague in the College (email above). Please let us know which courses you are teaching and the room assignments.

If you are teaching a course this fall I encourage you to try to have as much student engagement as possible. One way to do this is to maintain live sessions with your class via zoom or some other media.
