[Pols-announce] teaching update

All, as you may have seen, the Provost has changed the policy for teaching in the fall. Through last Wednesday I worked with a number of you about plans for teaching in the fall. Those plans were submitted for a June 24 deadline.

After protests from faculty and GTAs the Provost is now allowing instructors and GTAs to state their preferences for teaching through a survey. Feel free to stick with your original plan or to revise it as you see fit through the survey. If you have questions about the options please email me or call my mobile, 785-764-2309.

Thank you to those that devoted time to this earlier and hopefully they won't make us keep jumping through hoops on this.
