I am pleased to extend an invitation to students, faculty, and staff in your department to KU Libraries' Gallery Lecture Series event, "Kansas Complete Count Committee and the 2020 U.S. Census," presented by Tiara Floyd, KU Student Body President, on February 27th from 11-11:45 a.m.  Spring, 2020 Gallery Lecture Series events are scheduled in conjunction with Rightfully Yours, an exhibition of KU student and faculty scholarship addressing Constitutional amendments and federal laws affecting the right to vote.

Please share this invitation with students, staff, and faculty throughout your department - I hope to see you all on February 27th from 11-11:45 a.m. in Watson Library! Rightfully Yours will be on display in the Haricombe Gallery through August 31st, 2020.

Tiara Floyd is the KU Student Body President and senior in African American Studies, Political Science, and German. She was appointed by the governor to be part of the Kansas Complete Count Committee.

This lecture will discuss the importance of the 2020 U.S. Census and Floyd's efforts to get KU students engaged and involved.
