The University of Kansas is hosting  Beyond Discourse: Critical and Empirical Approaches to Human Trafficking<http://beyonddiscourse.ku.edu/> on Thursday, April 4 and Friday, April 5, 2019.

Dr. Kamala Kempadoo<http://beyonddiscourse.ku.edu/featured-speakers>, Professor of Social Sciences at York University, will deliver the keynote address at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2019. This keynote will be at the Spencer Museum of Art, and a reception and optional gallery tours will follow. This event is free and open to the public. Please see the attached flyer for more information on the event and parking information.

KU faculty, staff, and students who are interested in attending the rest of the conference on Friday, April 5, 2019, may register at this link<https://kusurvey.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_23u8CL20cngjc0d>. Registration is free for all KU affiliates. Registration is required, as space is very limited.
