[Pols-announce] On Day, One KU & Giving Day, instructions to get donation directed

Hello all,  Tomorrow, Wed, Feb 20 is #OneDayOneKU<https://kansas.scalefunder.com/amb/KUPoliticalScience> where there will be a push for the day for donations to campus and the various areas of campus.
I found it helpful to learn that those donating can select from areas such as the College, or the Dole Institute of Politics, or Graduate Studies etc.
In order to indicate a specific department, such as Political Science, they may have to choose "other" if they do not see it listed and then type in
Political Science Department.  It is some work, but if they really want the money directed to a certain area they should do that, or they can always use the giving link that goes right from our department page to give directly -any time of year.

Hi Linda,
Below you will find instructions and screen shots of how your donors can give to your unit, even if you do not have a specified giving button.


  1.  They will click the red "Give Now" button

  1.  They will select a school or unit. If they don't see their Specific unit, they will select the "Other" option in the drop down. Which will pop up a blank box that instructs them to type in the area they would like to give to. This is where they would specify your unit name.
