Dear Don,
Greetings from Wescoe!
I want to draw your attention to a webinar by the Kansas Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration on Oct. 24 at 11:30AM - 12:30pm. The topic is "Government Ethics, Public Trust in Government, and the Implications for Public Administration Today." The speakers include Hannes Zacharias, Professor of Practice of the KU School of Public Affairs and the former County Manager of Johnson County, KS, Professor Don Kettl at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, the University of Texas, Bernie Hayen at K-State College of Business, and Toby Dougherty at the City of Hays, KS.
I think the topic is very important and timely, and the speakers are excellent and interesting. For example, Professor Don Kettl recently published a book titled, "Can Governments Earn Our Trust?" (2017).
Could you please share the information with your faculty members and students in Political Science and encourage them to join us in the Conference Room in Wescoe Hall 4060 on Oct. 24?
Thanks!
Alfred
