[Pols-announce] Important - End of year events

Hello all, for Pi Sigma Alpha,   I have let the Seniors know and will move on to others and award recipients..
  Pi Sigma Alpha, the KU Political Science Chapter of the National Political Science Honor Society, is on
April 20 at 3pm at the Alumni Center, Bruckmiller Room.
I have already put the attached form in the mailboxes of the grad students.  Those who are not members already and want to be new initiates should get the form back in to me as soon as they can, and by April 6 at the latest.  The criteria is described on the form.
    Please try to attend the event, and I encourage particularly the graduate students who have received Cigler awards to be sure to attend, as Beth Cigler will be there and it would be great to have pictures taken of her with those who have received Cigler awards so far.

Commencement activities for us begin with the Recognition Ceremony, for our undergraduate graduates on May 11, 2018 6:30pm.  I will get more information out to all in the future.  Faculty needing to rent their regalia should have this arranged with the KU Bookstore by March 26.  I will need a few graduate students to be available to help out with the event.  This graduation is on the Friday before the other activities that are during the weekend, such as hoodings and main commencement.

      I reminded the Seniors and another reminder to all the Political Science students that those that will be graduating should be sure to Apply for Graduation<http://www2.ku.edu/~sakut/manuals/Apply_For_Graduation.pdf> on Enroll & Pay<https://sa.ku.edu/psp/csprd/?cmd=login&languageCd=ENG&> by March 1st to be sure to be in the Commencement program.      -Linda                                                          -
