Position Overview
This position is for a receptionist/student assistant with The Center for Russian, East European & Eurasian Studies (CREES).
Job Description
The ideal candidate(s) should be punctual and dependable, should have strong organization skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and a willingness to work in a busy office environment. Students with Federal Work Study are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
1. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office suite programs (MS Word, Excel) as evidenced in application material
2. Experience with Desktop Publishing (InDesign) as evidenced in application material
3. During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments)

2. Accurate typing skills
3. Interest in intercultural environments
4. Interested in progressive responsibility and project management
5. Federal Work Study eligibility
