Dear Professor,

I am writing to inform you about a couple of upcoming political science events that might be interesting to your students. If you are able to pass this information along, I would greatly appreciate it!

1) Never Too Young (Part One): How Young People Drive Political Campaigns

This Friday, October 27th in the Mallot Room of the Kansas Union from 12 to 1:15 p.m., we will be hosting our second Pizza & Politics event through the Dole Institute of Politics. The event is co-hosted by College Republicans and Young Dems, and the following guests will be speaking:

  *   Kelly Arnold — Chair, Kansas Republican Party
  *   Cheyenne Davis — Field and Political Director, Kansas Democratic Party
  *   Lee Modesitt — Former Campaign Manager, Lynn Jenkins for Congress
  *   Ashley Quenneville — Finance Director, Andrea Ramsey for Congress
I have attached the flyer for the event. Most importantly, there will be free pizza and soda for anyone who attends. Students can feel free to come late or leave early if they have class or other commitments.

2) KUYD Hosts Josh Svaty

This Sunday, October 29th from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Parlors Room of the Kansas Union, KU Young Dems will be holding a conversation with Congressional candidate Josh Svaty.
