A reminder about the brownbag with Professor Lael Keiser tomorrow.   I've only heard back from a couple people - please RSVP to me, & for pizza count.

Lael Keiser, Professor, University of Missouri, holds a joint appointment in the Political Science Department and the Truman School of Public Affairs.

Dr. Keiser teaches courses on public policy and administrative politics. Her research interests focus on the implementation of public policy, the relationship between the bureaucracy and other political institutions, representative bureaucracy and social welfare and education policy. She has published articles on these subjects in American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, Political Research Quarterly, Publius, Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, Public Administration Review and Journal of Public Administration: Research and Theory.

In 2013, Keiser received the Herbert Simon Award for contributions to the scientific study of bureaucracy from the Midwest Political Science Association and the Rita Mae Kelly Award for research contribution to gender-related issues.

Her current research projects include a book on public employee professional associations. She is also working on several projects concerning gender, race, street -level bureaucrats and representation.

Quick reminder that we'll have a pizza brownbag with Professor Lael Keiser at noon on Thursday this week in the conference room.

Her talk will also be Thursday at 4pm in Watson 455.

Both events are open to all students and faculty.
